To quote Fatboy Slim, "everybody needs a 303" - and while not everybody is lucky enough to own an original, nowadays anybody can get hold of a great-sounding hardware or software emulation.
The TB-303 Bass Line gave birth to a musical genre, "Acid House" (or acid techno), and its acid, quirky, moving bass lines can be heard on thousands of dance songs of the '90s (and today).
